Story Design for Nonfiction

After the success of Inside the Story Magazine, I wanted to develop a product that was a lot more educational and practical for nonfiction storytellers who really wanted to learn the craft. I collaborated with producer Marc Thomas in early 2014 to launch Story Design for Nonfiction. Over four weeks I taught a fast paced masterclass in how nonfiction stories are told. We ran the course four times throughout the year with small, manageable numbers. People from all over the world took part and by the end I really felt that I had created a powerful and clear course in how storytelling really works. I feel passionate about this. Storytelling is a real buzzword today, but few people take the time to understand its underlying mechanics.
